These terms add to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your use of the app. If the two differ, Apple's agreement wins for anything it covers. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.

Health and safety

Workout Director is a fitness app. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Check with your doctor before you start a new exercise program, especially if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, an injury, are pregnant, or have not been active for a while.
  • Stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain, or shortness of breath. If pain is sharp or does not go away, see a doctor or physiotherapist. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
  • Rep counts, form notes, heart rate, and calories are estimates. Do not rely on them for medical decisions.
  • Train within your ability, in a safe space, with equipment you know how to use. You are responsible for how you exercise.

AI trainer and voice coach

The trainer (xAI) and the voice coach (OpenAI) are AI. Their replies can be wrong or incomplete. They are not a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian, or personal trainer, and nothing they say is medical advice or a promise of results. Use your own judgement and stop if anything feels wrong. Both are optional and need your agreement before any data is sent; you can turn them off in Profile at any time.

Workout Director Pro

  • Workout Director Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. The price and length of each plan are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. If a free trial is offered, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Manage or cancel in iOS Settings, your name, Subscriptions, or from Profile, Manage Subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Use Restore Purchases in Profile to bring Pro back on a new iPhone. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your account

You can use the app without an account; signing in keeps a copy of your training on our servers and is needed for the AI trainer and Pro. You can delete your account at any time in Profile, Delete Account. You must be at least 14 to use Workout Director.

Fair use

Do not misuse the service, for example by trying to break it, overload it, or use it to produce harmful content. We may limit or suspend access that does.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Shelgaon Ltd is not liable for injury, loss, or damage that comes from exercise you choose to do, or from relying on estimates or AI replies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
